washing machine The washing machine doesn't work properly, what can I do?

Some checks to be made:

• The water inlet (flexible hard pipe) must be connected to the supply tap on the wall and connected to the washing machine;
• The water outlet (flexible grey plastic pipe) must be connected to the washing machine and be encased in a PVC pipe in the wall;
• Ensure that the washing machine is connected to an electrical socket;

If there is no power or a light comes on, check the electrical installation

Is your washing machine leaking? Don't panic, just turn off the water supply directly from the tap and secure all electronic equipment.

Don't forget to leave the door open when you are not using the machine in order to ventilate it and to avoid any mould.

It is possible that the washing machine will not wash clothes properly. This can be caused by a wrong product being used or a wrong programme being set. Make sure that you use the most suitable programme for your clothes and their degree of soiling, and that you use the correct amount of detergent.
