For electric radiators

Do electric radiators make rattling noises? This is due to the expansion of the materials. Don't worry, it happens most often in the autumn when the radiator is switched on again. It can also happen when the radiator is switched off during the day and switched on again in the evening. The noise does not last long. It will soon stop.

However, if the noise persists, the radiator will need to be drained or the pressure in the heating system adjusted. In this case, contact our Cocoonr teams so that we can intervene.

For water radiators

When you turn on the radiator, you hear a sound of water inside the radiator? This is normal, the radiator fills with hot water to allow the room to heat up. Simply wait for the radiator to fill up with enough water and the noise will stop.

If the noise persists, check that there is not a water leak, if this is the case, contact our Cocoonr teams so that we can intervene.

Or check the boiler pressure, it may be too high. In this case, lower the temperature.
