The television doesn't work properly, what can I do?
The television has no sound
Look at the settings and the sound bar: turn off the "MUTE" option on the remote control, turn up the volume on the TV. Check the sound bar button (a switch on the back/side of the TV) which should be turned on ("On" or "1").
Check the connections: the HDMI cable from the sound bar must be connected to the TV, otherwise check if the optical cable is correctly connected. Also check the condition of the cable.
Check the sound bar: Unplug the sound bar, switch on the TV and check the sound status (if the sound works, the problem is with the sound bar, if not, the problem is with the TV).
Reset the TV: Hold the "ON" button for 30sec, unplug the TV power cord from the mains socket (for 60sec) then plug it back in.
Test the jack: Plug in a headset, if sound comes out of it, the problem is with the speakers.
If after these tests the sound persists, contact our Cocoonr team.
The television has no picture
Check the backlighting: Turn on the television normally, bring a light source near the television (telephone flash or torch). If you see an image when you bring the light source close to the TV screen, then it is a backlighting problem, if it is not the case, the problem comes from the connectivity of the components or the t-con card of the device. Contact our Cocoonr team in this case so that we can fix the problem.
Do a TV reset: unplug the mains plug, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in. Is the "Radio" mode deactivated on the TV? If not, press the [TV] key to exit radio mode. Check in the menu if the ECO mode is activated, if so, deactivate it. Check also if the connection is connected to the TV and try with another device (DVD player, DTT decoder ...). If the problem persists, contact our Cocoonr team.
The television indicates "No signal
This message is displayed when the TV is not receiving any antenna signal. To check, please follow the instructions:
Make sure the TV is correctly connected to the antenna.
Check if the correct type of reception (DVB-S,DVB-C;DVB-T;analogue) has been selected ("TV" button on the remote control).
Search the TV
If the search did not yield any results, perform a reset / restart to "factory setting".
To receive DTT channels
Make sure that the antenna cable is not disconnected from the TV.
Check the other connections and the state of the cables.
To do this, select "Installation"/"Channel installation"/"Scan" / "Rescan". Select the function "Reinstall / search all channels", "Automatic search", "Delete channels", "Reset channels", or "Install services". Wait until the search is complete, then return to the menu and check for channels.
