Venez profiter d'une vue exceptionnelle sur le monument le plus célèbre de la capitale alsacienne. Situé sur le parvis de la cathédrale, au sein d'un immeuble d'exception à colombages de style Renaissance, datant de 1567 et classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, ce grand appartement de 121m² rénové et décoré avec goût, vous offrira une expérience hors du commun.
Ce superbe appartement pouvant accueillir 4 personnes offre une vue magique de jour comme de nuit sur la façade de la Cathédrale (1er étage avec ascenseur). Vous pourrez ainsi jouir du spectacle de lumières, l'été, sur la façade, ou bien contempler, l’hiver, le marché de Noël qui se tient sur le parvis, depuis votre salon, confortablement installé dans le canapé.
Le logement se compose de la manière suivante :
- Une cuisine équipée avec électroménager récent
- Un salon ouvert avec canapés, TV, table basse
- Une suite parentale grand confort avec TV, grande armoire, commode, lit double électrique avec matelas séparé et une salle d'eau avec douche à l'italienne. Vous disposerez également d'un fauteuil convertible 1 personne.
- Une chambre avec lit double électrique et TV en plus d'une grande armoire avec miroir de plein pied et d’une commode. Les fenêtres en vitraux (sous double vitrage) donnent sur une cour intérieure particulièrement calme.
La Place de la Cathédrale est situé en plein cœur de Strasbourg. Il constitue le centre historique de la ville avec certains bâtiments datant de la Renaissance. C'est dans ce quartier notamment que se trouve la célèbre cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg achevée au XVème siècle. Idéalement placé, vous pourrez rejoindre à pied la grande majorité des lieux touristiques et culturels de la ville. Quartier commerçant très animé, vous profiterez pleinement des réjouissances des fêtes de fin d'année !
Transport
- Il n'est pas possible de se garer sur la place et difficilement dans les rues avoisinantes du centre- historique (accès compliqué, tarif élevé, durée limitée).
- Le parking de la place de Gutenberg est le plus proche, à 2 minutes à pied (44€/24h). Le parking Austerlitz est un peu plus loin, à 6 minutes à pied, mais beaucoup moins cher (20€/24h).
- Tramway : Arrêt "Langstross Grand' rue" à 5 minutes à pied. A partir de là vous pourrez rejoindre la gare centrale en environ 7 min en empruntant les lignes A ou D du tramway. Arrêt "Homme de Fer" à 6 minutes à pied. A partir de là vous pourrez rejoindre le Parlement européen en 15 minutes et d’autres lignes de Tramway.

We have stayed in Airbnb’s around the world, and this one is one of the best we have ever experienced. The location is SUPERB and the view of the Cathedral is unmatched. Truly spectacular. It is in the middle of a busy square with lots of food options. It’s a bit noisy during certain times of the day, but we love being in the middle of the activity and people-watching. As for the apartment itself, it is perfect in every way. VERY spacious; modern with charming historic elements; and uber clean. I wouldn’t change a thing. We look forward to returning.

The apartment is beautiful and located in both a historic building and location, with easy access to great restaraunts, bars and shopping. The views of the cathedral were spectacular, and you could engage easily with the surrounding activities in and out of the main square. Be prepared for a busy area during the day with some good street performers, but be aware of others who will scam you for money. It can also be a bit noisy at night with people going home from a fun night out.

Beautiful, cozy flat. Ideal location, very clean, easy check in and communication with management team. Others have mentioned the bells… they are a delightful part of European culture! For those concerned, the bells don’t ring between 2200 and 0700.

A very spacious flat, located in an excellent place just opposite the main entrance of the Strasbourg cathedral. There are plenty of restaurants, gift shops and other attractions within only a few minutes walk. The beds are very comfortable, everything is perfect inside.
Attention 1: the surrounding area is really noisy. The cathedral bells chime even during the night. And there are crowds of people and even street musicians right outside the windows. If you want to sleep in silence, you should take that into account.
Attention 2: upon arrival, we were provided with a security code to unlock the door. The code was correct, but the door wouldn't unlock, probably because of a mechanical issue. We had to get a mechanical key to unlock the door.

This is truly an amazing location. The apartment was spacious and the views amazing. The price is steep--we paid more for 2 nights here than we did all the rest of our trip combined--but it was worth a splurge. The back bedroom is darker and quieter; the bedroom with the views and the living room/kitchen are lighter, brighter, and noisier (as is expected). Loved hearing the cathedral bells, though.
The agency wasn't super great about problem solving with us (washing machine and shower drain issues) or even getting back to us quickly. Their last troubleshooting suggestion came after we'd checked out.

The apartment was very centrally located and exactly as described. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. Being in the town center, yes, there was some noise, but the location and amenities made it worthwhile. Everything of interest for us was in walking distance. We would recommend this AirBnB and will likely stay here again when we return to Strasbourg.

We have stayed in this apartment multiple times, and it is our favorite place to stay in Strasbourg. There are books and toys for kids, and the view of the Cathedral is amazing. The place is always clean, and fans are provided for the warm months. The proximity to great restaurants and shopping is a big plus! We will definitely stay here again and again!

The perfect location with a stunning view of the cathedral! Everything is walkable. However, as it is near to a big tourist attraction, be prepared for a reasonable amount of noise. Especially if there is festival with the cathedral light and sound show every night (which we loved however).
The apartment is lovely, well equipped and feels like being at home. We could have stayed longer as we loved it so much.
It is not modern however, so expect a few quirks (part of the charm perhaps).

Nous avons passe un séjour formidable à Strasbourg.
Grace à la localisation de l’appartement nous avons pu assister chaque soir depuis la fenêtre du salon au spectacle son et lumière sue la cathédrale, c’était incroyable. Le logement correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes.
Cependant il y a un point à bien avoir en tête en louant cet appartement, les bruits de la rue sont extrêmement presents même fenêtres fermées. Nous pensions même que nous avions oublié d’en fermer une quelque part! Cela ne nous a pas dérangé pour quelques jours de vacances, mais nous n’y vivrions pas à l’année.
Par ailleurs le cadre, la proximité avec le coeur de la ville de Strasbourg, la vue sur la cathédrale valait largement d’entendre les bruits de la rue au quotidien(pour quelques jours)

The view of the cathedral from the living room is fabulous. The kitchen is super well equipped. I would definitely stay again. We were there inly four nights, but it would also be perfect for a ling stay of several months. In addition to being in the cultural center, there's a grocery store nearby.
Note that the street and square below are pedestrian and lively, so in the summer with open windows you have people noise. We were fine with it, but it might bother others.

We loved staying right across from the cathedral - even though it was a bit loud and busy, we loved to keep the windows open and look at the cathedral even at night. Excellent location!
The apartment is huge with 2 big bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen is well stocked with almost anything you would need.
Only downside is that it does not have AC, and one of the main fans in the living room did not work. But they had 3 other fans so we were comfortable.
Will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay that is right in the center of the action! We had the best view around and it was an amazing central location to check out Strasbourg !
Some reviewers mentioned the noise so we booked it understanding what we were getting into. Being right in the center of the action isn't for everyone, so there are times I personally would choose to stay a little further away for a quieter setting.
Plenty of space, great restaurants nearby, and a view that cannot be beat!

Our stay was hassle-free. Contact with the host was minimal. But everything is very well communicated via airbnb as well as in-apartment directions. know that the location is very central and popular. So expect some noise when it gets busy outside. But it was not something that bothered us. We felt very at home at this location. It also felt very secure. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We and our friends have rented this apartment three times. The views are beautiful, the open space is ideal for families or groups. It’s located in the heart of everything wonderful in Strasbourg. We did have an issue this last stay with no hot water, but this was our only issue.

Pro‘s: great location right on the Cathedral Square, historic building (Merck lived here, as I read, the first pharmacy in France was here etc.), many amenities are excellent in the apartment, especially you usually don’t expect such comfortable beds, all kitchen devices work, 2 bathrooms.
Con‘s: be careful with the check-in description, the message was that the apartment was located on the second floor and for a person leaving in Germany or France second floor is the third level: ground floor, 1 floor, 2 floor. So for half an hour I was trying to open all apartments on the 2 floor, then I realised it must me be on the 1 floor. There the black number pad is a bit „hidden“ at the top of the door itself and not the one at the hand level (also with black buttons)… so we were sitting on the stairs until the agency representative came. I traveled a lot and never experienced such a cumbersome check-in.
Some windows would benefit from noise isolation. Could sleep only with earplugs.

The listing does describe some noise due to being on the square and it is definitely noisy. One of us forgot earplugs, and I recommend earplugs to dull the noise. Nice big unit centrally located.

Très bel appartement situé idéalement face à la cathédrale.
La literie est impeccable et l'appartement cosy, confortable et très bien décoré.
point négatif, étant donné les frais d'entretien/ménage très élevés, l'appartement aurait du être impeccable, ce qui n'était pas le cas. poussière dans les coins et sur les meubles, évacuations des douches sales, toilettes mal fixés.
Lieu très central et bruyant, au coeur de Strasbourg, cela mériterait d'envisager une isolation phonique aux fenêtres

Dark entry
First property is in an A location. Right next to Cathedral. Arrived at night. There were no lights around the door or number we had to get out of taxi and use cell phone lights. Kind of pain.Also our automatic key lock stopped working and we knew it was glitching we tried to be proactive and the management didn’t return email till next day. Meanwhile that night we were locked out and after several tries got in touch w/ their on call service. They resolved the problem but I had to go and collect the physical key after over an hour of trying to figure it out.That really took a lot on my end .

The apartment is very charming, nicely appointed, and spacious. The view of the church is magnificent. The only real problem with this place is the management by the hosting company. Upon arrival in Strasbourg, we were informed that there was a broken pipe in one of the 2 showers, making it unusable. We were not offered an option to rebook elsewhere nor offered a discount. The host was very slow to respond. When I said I didn’t think the situation was fair, my contact told me to email the corporate office. We asked Airbnb for help. They were great. By then, the host wasn’t responding to anybody. We did choose to stay in the apartment for the entire trip. Towards the end of our stay, we noticed mice running around in the kitchen. We’ve never left a bad review on Airbnb, not as guests nor as hosts. Most things are easy to see as quirky or overlook if the people you are dealing with show compassion and kindness. This stay was just so disappointing and upsetting.
