Charcoal barbecue :

Empty the barbecue completely after each use.

Electric barbecue:

Unplug it before cleaning so that the gas supply is cut off. Use a dish brush, water with a mild detergent and a cloth.

Caution: Do not use steel wool or scrapers to clean electric barbecues (this will damage the surface of the appliance, the meat could stick and burn when you barbecue)

Gas barbecues:

Close the gas cylinder before cleaning. Clean with soapy water (add a little lemon juice to remove grease more effectively).
